Am I the only one who's getting rubbed the wrong way by this whole Bale business? I mean, 85m? For that money they could get 3 top quality players.

Napoli. Higuain will probably make more or less the same amount of goals like Cavani. But the work rate Cavani offers is twice than Higuain.

Mertens and Callejon: both similar play style as Elia. Such wingers, they dont fit in Italian football. They both also need to improve their defensive work rate.

Albiol, my god, Barza played more games last season than Albiol in the last three combined.

Reina = De Sanctis

And Benitez will never win anything, that suits Napoli.

If Milan have luck with the amount of injuries, they probably will fight us for the scudetto.

Hernanes imo will have a beast season, and Icardi will show good things too.

Nah, Callejon is much more direct and carries more of a goal threat.

Don't know Mertens.

So?

Reina = De Sanctis
Reina's significantly better.

You think Callejon will make 10+ goals in their 4-3-3? Have a season like Lavezzi for example.

I dont understand people who think Napoli is having a fantastic mercato.

Albiol barely had playing time and isnt an improvement over Campagnaro.

At this moment they didnt really improve their team.

I like Mertens. He's a solid winger. Very technical, hard working. He'll be good.

Reina is a huge improvement in goal for them, and he's back with the keeper coach who got the best out of him.

Callejon is fast and direct. Depending on who Rafa plays the team, he could be good.

They won't play a 4-3-3. Rafa will do some sort of 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2.

I don't think they're better than last season on paper at the moment.

I think there is the potentially for quite a lot of goals from an attacking midfield line of Insigne, Hamsik and Callejon.

I wouldn't say Albiol is better than Campagnaro, but he is more appropriate for a back four than Campagnaro.

Skrtl would be a great signing for them, I hope he doesn't go to trash-town.

They still need two new fullbacks. Maggio and Armero/Zuniga will cause their defence plenty of issues, none of them are particularly strong defensively in a four man backline.

Only GK position the way I see it. Their attack is arguably weaker. They lost Campagnaro in defense, better player than Albiol. Maggio and Armero in back 4 never looked good. And not to forget they'll change the complete concept of play the most players are familiar with.

Wallace to Inter?
Chelsea fans were raving about him in pre-season (yeah, I know). I think he is something of a wonderkid, so on loan is a good risk for Inter.

It probably would stop their interest in Isla as well.

Actually right now I don't think it's even arguable the attack is weaker, it is weaker. Higuain is inferior to Cavani as an all-round player, and can anyone really say Mertens is better than Insigne or Pandev? Not now you can't.

Maggio and Armero are quite clearly not proper fullbacks, especially the latter.
