Depends, Götze can go either way with Pep, either be ballsy and play Götze as fake 9 instead of a out and out striker (seen Götze play this in NT games, vs Kazakhs being last, couple league games too), and go with:

Ribery - Götze - Muller

Kroos - Martinez - Schweinsteiger

Alba - Dante - Badstuber - Lahmn

Neuer
Would be interesting that.

I'm not a fan of the whole 'false 9' trend, but the penetration that someone like Mueller offers is exactly what could make it work well.

There's a good chance it might happen IMO. Götze might not be mature enough as a player yet at 20 to do this role (requires quite alot of intelligent movement and more importantly deadlier finishing, latter his weak point), but he might grow into it. And with Pep being obbsessed with fake 9 kinda approach, I would be VERY suprised if he didnt experiment and try Götze at that role. I mean Löw who isnt known for such an approach tried it for few games, latest game being vs Kazakhs. This how it looked like Germany Vs them, front trio of:

Reus - Götze - Muller

With Muller moving in from right rather directly infront of goal often and Götze having quite alot of freedom to move between channels (defenitely looked more natural then any other fake 9 I seen since this became trendy). All in all lots of movement in such a trio (would be bit different movement/approach with Ribery instead of Reus since the latter is basically just a forward and not a tricky winger like scarface), highlights from said game:

Klopp is the man.

Loved him at Mainz.

Love that we have Goetze now.

Marketing and good professional ties. Beer, cars, Adidas, Deutsche Telekom, Allianz....
Strong economy with a large population is also useful, for the league in general. Bayern as the shining light are in a strong position.

Or yeah just keep Götze as natural AM, drifting/roaming Iniesta kinda approach:

Ribery - Striker - Muller

Götze

Kroos - Schweinsteiger

Alba - Dante - Martinez - Lahm

Neuer

But doubt Götze will play as CM in a midfield trio, will play bit ahead of two CMs, or as a forward IMO (either centrally or as wingforward).
That 2nd formation is hardly any diff than what bayern is using now, tbh and they should hope guardiola doesn't deviate much from it, imo.

The first formation is more like what he used at Barca but with one key diff - at Barca, during his most successful years, he always had at least two prolific goalscorers up front - Messi/Dinho/Eto'o, Messi/Eto'o, Messi/Villa. none of Ribery, Goetze, Muller really fit that mold ... Muller is probably the most likely source of goals among the 3 but he doesn't come even close to Messi's, Eto's or Villa's productivity in that regard. things would not be any diff with Robben in for Muller either.

So, all in all, bayern would be smart to keep to the old adage - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

We should definitely try to get Muller :tuttosport:

I think so, you spell a lot better than most clowns from Europe, save the Danes.

However, most of those chinamen I want to take a Mata Policia.
Well thanks :D haha yes I've noticed that some of the people on this Forum seem to have some basic problems with their english :matri:
