Ehh, not really. Barzagli's main problem was consistency. He played some pretty good matches and was good for an entire season in Wolfsburg and was along with Misimovic, Dzeko and Grafite the top performer of the team when they won the Bundesliga in 09.

Zapata's problem is different, the dude sucked balls for Villareal the entire season, not a few matches where he was the bright spark.
