Could be. we need @Fred 's insight/thoughts on this. Did Pastore flop?
Relative to expectations?

Hell ya he flopped.

He was very inconsistent, and did not perform well in the big games. All in all, he wasn't even close to being PSG's player as he ought to. Nene was the one that carried PSG last season. So like i said, relative to expectations he did flop. But all in all, he did have some games where he was magical, just not consistently enough for a player that came for around 40M Euros.

I don't think PSG are really after L.Moura though, they're squad is full of attacking talent. They need a right back or a central midfielder a lot more. That being said, there is a big possibility that Pastore will be experimented with as a CM next season due to there being too many attacking players. Lavezzi and Zlatan were big name signings, so they will definitely start. Menez ended the season in brilliant form last year, and Nene was their best player and one of the best attacking midfielders in the Ligue last season, so it will be quite hard for Ancelotti to bench him. So it will be really interesting to see exactly how PSG will line up for their first game in the Ligue next week.

PSG are used by the media to hype prices and players (Man U and Inter been those who been going for him), so its easy to report they are interested in young brazilian starlet when they are managed by Leonardo and have 4-5 brazilian players. They dont have no real use for him now, though I wouldnt doubt they are interested a little, for a team like them the quality players/talents they can get that arent already in a top team are rather limited. Thats why I believe their Modric interest for example is genuine, you dont get opportunities like Modric every summer. Too bad for them it doesnt matter they offer more then Real when player only wants them.
