I agree about Ox..I rate him very highly ,funnily enough 2 Arsenal players are perhaps the biggest hope for England.Maybe you can add Cleverly and Adam Johnson(unless he leaves City) to the mix too.But its still not enough imo if you want to compete with the best. The NT careers of England's 'Golden Generation' are slowly coming to a halt and other than that there isnt too much quality around.

Italy are in similar sort of situation though have much more quality than England. Some of Italy's young up and coming talents are definitely much much better than England's in my opinion.

Borini is good but he doesnt have any WC attributes in him.He works very hard though..And with Carlo mentoring Veratti(and since currently there is no competition in his position) he could possibly explode at PSG.
Their are quite a few decent players, that just dont get the chance, due to foreign players.

Varretti, Destro, Immobile, Insigne, Capueno, Leali, Gabbiadini (sp)....them aside, im not sure who else !

Gibbs, Caulker, Stirling, Rodwell, Barkley, Joe Allen, Green, Tunicliffe, Smalling, Jones, Henderson (Looool), Wiltshire. All look very promising, and givin the chnce to play the ball on the floor, future looks decent !

You mean Chelsea, where he had no chances to play as a 19-20 year old?

That's because you are clueless, rather than having an agenda :D
And why was that ???

Chelsea dont have any kids good enough, as they dont really bring any decent players in at that level, hence the very average Borini their in the first place.

Nope, will be back in Serie A within 2 seasons :cronios:
That's hardly saying much, that's a standard for Italians, 2-3 seasons then back. It's not as if Liverpool are the pinnacle of European football, either.

To physical for many Italian players. Not a very technical league is it.

McEachran was on loan at Swansea last season, and hardly played a game. Struggld big time. Needs more time I think.

Joe Allen is Welsh..

Gibbs and Rodwell ? Dont make me laugh.Have heard good things about Raheem Stirling but havent watched him though.

England are pretty ok in the defense department(Jones,Smalling,Cahill etc),they're pretty stacked infact but there arent many quality young technical players atm which is what is needed to completely transform England's football philosophy..There are many players in England who either are headless chickens or completely lack technique.

lol....I even knew he was Welsh....was just readig about his £15 million move to Liverpool, and was thinking along the English over-hyped thing.

You have not watched much of these players have you ??

How can you dismiss player that play regular in top 8 prem sides (when fit), then claim Italian players on loan at love rleague teams as NAILED on better than the English players ??!!

Rodwell is a good footballer, and Gibbs looks good. Im not sure why you are dismissing them so quick. Did an English id bully you once ??

Future turned out to be below average when it was supposed to be great. I can't even imagine how will it turn out to be, when for the time being it's just decent. :D

Stirling, Barkley, Green, Tunicliffe, Wiltshire

These players are very technical, and god on the ball. Which is something that we need more than the kick and rush players that are currently failing!

And if he is taht good and plays for a Top 8 side in the "Greatest League in the World" he should've been on NT duty by now no ?

And please Gibbs is defensively slack,i dont rate him that highly.

On a 'technical level' i rate some of the Italian talents more than the English talents..definitely..

No, nothing about you there. I even applaud you for not overhyping the English as most people there do. But I found it interesting that even an English fan doesn't hype this generation of youngsters.

Rodwell and Gibbs, have 2 caps each. Both have been injured alot. Rodwell got injured for England !

They are still developing. Does Varetti have ANY weakness ?? Does Destro ?? They are all young players, still developing.

Italian players are natuarlly more technical, I never denied that. But what i am saying, is these players I mentioned are more of that ilk, that the kick and rush athletes England are failing with now !

Im not sure you have seen much of these players, and you dismiss tham....yet you like Stirliing cos you "Heard good things about him" !!!

Bieng an Everton fan, I know quite a lot about over-hyped players. Every young kid that comes through, is compared to Rooney, its just not fair on them!

Over the years, we have had Franciss Jeffers, Michael Ball, Rishard Dunne, Phil Jevons, Cadamateri, Michael Branch, Tony Grant etc, all 'The Next Big Thing' !!!
