I've always liked Kuyt. Very professional, smart, and hard-working. But he was getting old, and we don't really need him so yeah.

So you want Kuyt for our team as a defensive right wing? :p I guess I get what you're saying, but in order to defend a lead, you need to score a goal first... ;)

Why the debate about Kuyt?

Had everybody not figured out what he was like and decided whether he was useful about five years ago?

But Kuyt has also been playing as a striker in Liverpool. Maybe Kuyt is able to score more goals than Pepe, but Kuyt is just not good enough technically to be a starter at the wing position imo.

Kuyt plays multiple positions, but had his most successful seasons under Rafa from the right wing.

Sure he's not the most technical of players, but do say he's isn't offensive is ignorant
