I dont want to encourage "disloyalty", but thats how to do it, Modric doesnt find Spurs ambitious enough, and makes it clear. In comparison, Cesc who though spent long time in Gunners and has loyal fans, finds Arsenal frustratingly unambitious and wants to leave. But he doesnt have the nerve to make it public to force Arsenal hands. Instead this will be a 3rd summer of pussy footing around leaving. Expecting Barca to pay ridicolous amount of money off the bat Arsenal are demanding (because they want to naturally keep him, raise price to real high), like they are in bad need of him (when they arent, he needs them way more). Not willing to do what its necessary to make the process of leaving easier. By making statement like above Modric (Tottenham would still take Chelsea to the cleaners fee wise).
Exactly. To be honest, as much as I want Cesc to stay, I find it a bit odd that he won't just fess up and say he's leaving.

Well Villarreal did exactly a similar deal with United for Rossi, and things are working pretty well for them.

They might even sell him for a huge profit....
If Juve offers 20 mln for Rossi, Manutd will get the chance to do the same and land him over Juve. They don't have a buy-back price. Just first option.

Yeah, that's a very fucked up deal by the great Sabatini.
Not really.

There's a chance of them wanting him as a temp solution and for one year only. I don't really rate Bojan and I think he's quite overrated, though. But still, having him instead of Borriello would be a plus IMO.

Wait, is it a loan with option or a buy?

It's a lose-lose situation for Roma, if he performs well, Barca buys him back for 12 and if they want, can sell him for more.

If he sucks, Barca won't care and Roma will have to care of it.

Personally I see both Borriello and Bojan there.

No idea really. First they said loan, then they said it's a complete deal, we'll see how it goes.

It's funny how you bash Sabatini, by saying how 'great' it really is. To tell you the truth, he's miles ahead of our guy Marotta and we can only dream about him.

And while we're there, one of the Palermo's main guys is most likely to join Roma and be their main scout and work besides Sabatini. Bruno Conti should be moved somewhere in that case.

Personally, the reason I said "the great" Sabatini was that I think he is overrated in this forum. I am sure if Marotta made such a deal, he would be lynched and stomped on :D

Anyways, I don't think think it's fair to compare Sabatini and Marotta. Sabatini has more eye for the talent and Marotta is more finance-type of guy. That's why I see Paratici taking the SD role in the future.
