G confirmed we have that 75m to spendwisely, is he implying the way he was going to spend them [before getting rejected by both] was unwise? If that was the case, why did he fly countless times to Porto and Monaco to do something unwise? Is it just an excuse like always - or is someone else pulling the strings?I'm very happy that we did not spend the 75m on these two players, that's half of 150m, that'll be a disaster if spent that much on players like Jackson and Kdog.
75m alone can get us both Thiago Silva and Cavani/Ibra or even Silva/Ibra and Verratti, those two deals are worth a lot more than Jackson and Kondogbia(i think he's worth 40m though). We need to be looking at City, PSG, United, Barca, Dortmund and Madrid's squads. These are teams who are congested with very good players and they can only field 11, I'm certain there are unhappy players who are willing to jump ship.

I've said it over the past few weeks. I had huge doubts about their supposed links to all of these players. It sounded like their PR team and obvious friends in the print media trying to big-up them by linking to them to all sorts of players, to try over shadow what we've done and to make themselves look like they are actually still relevant.

U are probably right. I even thought they were going to get both of them.

It's just another miss direction to take the attention away from the disaster of a situation the club is in.
