Release clause?

hmm.. no. They had to sell Benatia because they didn't have the money to offer him a decent contract renew that he deserved (the max they were offering was 2M/year lol)

I've done the checking, Marotta works with much more transfer fee money and mainly with salaries. Juventus salaries are probably almost the double of Roma salaries.

I also admire Sabatini, the guy is fucking great, we've got to admit..

Benatia leaving is not Sabatini's fault... they didn't have enough money to offer him a decent contract renewal.
This is my alt btw.

Benatia also acted poorly though the summer.

Given that he was hanging around at Udinese and not really threatening to get a big move anywhere until Roma signed him, I don't think it would have been unreasonable for him to sign the new contract with the wage rise, but on the basis that he'd be sold next summer (whether that be with a release clause in the contract or though an informal agreement with the club).

It's not like he's 31 and he wasn't going to get another chance at a big move - he could have foregone the really big wage for one year.

Think I read £8m.

Have you seen much of that Koulibaly that Napoli have signed?

He looks a really bad player fro what I've seen of him.
He looks awful. Panilla was absolutely doing whatever he wanted in the first game of the match. Koulibaly couldn't do anything against him in the air.

Didn't see the game, though I saw Pinilla's goal.

What's the point of being a giant if you aren't even going to dominate in the air? :lol2:

Falcao will score so many goals that the midfield and defence will only have to keep the ball out of their net for like 30 seconds a match and they will make top 4.

Molinaro crosses to Amauri :touched:
after witnessing abate actually making a successful cross at the weekend anything is possible

Same reason they signed Di Maria.

They are just signing whatever big names they can rather than operating to anything resembling a coherent plan.
I can't see how mata will fit, if anything he will be gone within a year i recon
