I think they got rid of him mainly to appease the fans and media. Plus having three world class goalkeepers is a bit of overkill. Casillas will probably be benched for Navas. And it's not like they can get rid of Casillas.

Ok, but I'm not sure what I said was actually incorrect. What Galliani said quite clearly is, even if he well knows that sometimes you have to puff out your chest out a little bit to make yourself appear r̶e̶l̶e̶v̶a̶n̶t bigger.

Lopez is a very good signing for Milan, when you compare him to their previous keepers.

After De Sciglio, Real Madrid eye Torino’s Darmian

"...On the other hand, Darmian was impressive, also with the national team. He’s a product of Milan’s youth system too, but he was let go, for whatever logic..."

Curious timing, just as Arbeloa gets into a row with Casillas.

Well, yeah. He's definitely not the best in the world but he's up there.

He is a very good goalie, but he had questionable performances for Real in bigger games, in particular vs Atletico in more then few occasions. He could have made it more clearer with his performances that he should be clearly be above Casillas at all times, but mostly just did enough to be above him, and this kind of political move happend to get rid of him partly because he didnt dominate enough to make a foregone conclusion.

Neuer and Courtois are better imo.
Yes, Neuer is probably the best. I dont like him, but he is.

Napoli is going to get Fellaini/Lucas Leiva for midfield and Daniel Agger for defense. (Sky) Fernandez is on his way out to Swansea for 10 Mio. EUR.

Agger and one of Fellaini/Lucas Leiva would be a quite impressive mercato for Napoli in my opinion.

I mean this season, he was going to be third choice behind Casillas and Navas, which is why they let him go for nothing.
Casillas would pull his hamstring trying to carry Lopez's man purse for the last few years. Since Mou benched his overrated ass last year, he's done nothing but literally cry to the media about his hurt "feelings" due to being the second choice GK. Casillas didn't have the testicular fortitude to try and prove he was better on the training ground, instead he sobs to Señor Perez like a Madrilenian Prostitute clinging to her John. Can't believe the ammount of uninformed idiots out there who put him on the same level as Gigi.

Good post and brilliant finish on it. 👍

I wonder how ManU fans will take being rejected by Vermaelen first and soon Vidal.

Really a shot to their egos as "one of the top clubs in the world" and whatnot.
