But if u keep the men who want to leave then i don't see you finishing beyond 4th. On the other hand get 40 m for cesc and 24 for nasri and build yourself a new team.

Its unfortunate but cesc will leave and so will nasri,or weneger should grow some balls and twist their arms into staying.

Why would they need to sell an EU? Zamp is saying Pastore is gone 99%, who is bidding? Chelsea?
apparently there is more to that rule - by the recent "increase to 2 non-EU", the figc simply went back to the non-EU situation of 2 years ago - before the WC '10 debacle. The thing is that back then, hence now too, clubs cannot simply buy 2 new non-EU players but rather "replace" 2 of their non-EU players i.e. for a club to be able to buy a new non-EU player, they need to sell one they already have abroad or see his contract expire.
Not sure what happens if a club doesn't have 2 non-EU players on their roster, for example, but there is probably a clause or something in the details of the rule that takes care of similar situations.

All in all, however, the 2 non-EU player rule is really a matter of "replacing" and not simply "adding" 2 new players.

Pastore would like to stay in Italy.

If Roma sell De Rossi I see them bidding for Pastore.
Zampa has been saying that there are 2 teams in Italy, who are still in the run for Pastore - I know about Milan, the other is most likely Inter as they have expressed their admiration and interest in him a number of times (Zampa excluded recently Juve and Napoli).

Roma may get a good deal from selling De Rossi but they have their goalkeeping position and defense to sort out, we well as midfield - replacement for De Rossi, at the very least - and they just bought Lamela, who is supposed to be Pastore II.
So I just don't see them really needing Pastore to the point of spending most, if not all, of the transfer money on him, with Lamela already there .... not to mention I highly doubt they can afford him in the first place.

Honestly... I totally forgot about Lamela.
well, at this point in time, he is forgettable :D

Inter will likely sell Sneijder, this week or the next, most probably to ManU - based on how Inter players are talking, he seems all but officially gone - and will get 35-40 mil from that deal. With that money coming in, Pastore is expected to become their prime target for a Sneijder replacement - Tevez and Rossi also being mentioned.
If not, I see Chelsea or City as other possibilities for him.

Milan seems to be focusing on Ganso, who they expect to be significantly less costly, after proper negotiations, that is :)

Manchester is just doing amazing with transfers, I envy them.

As for Inter, it's probably true and they'll focus on Pastore I guess. And da, I see Milan snapping up Ganso.
