Every news service now reporting Kakà to Milan as a done deal. Agreement reached with Real, and the player really wants the move.

There's no doubt that Milan will challenge for the scudetto this season. @Quetzalcoatl you better believe it!

I actually love it that Kaka will join Milan. Absolutely love it. Milan won't be a threat to Juve in the next two years anyway. After Ambrosini left, it was hard to find hating figures in Milan. I absolutely despised Ambro, Maldini, Kaka, Inzaghi and Gattuso. But one by one they left the team, and it's silly to hate dumb clowns like Balotelli. But with Kaka back, I'm also back on the hating track.

Even if Kaka stays free from injury, I don't see this as a good move from Milan.

For one thing, it is commiting them to going back to 4-3-1-2, when they have looked much better in both attack and defence when they have played 4-3-3.

Secondly, it means Milan will be returning to the days when they have three people in their team who basically do no defending.

Now, there were times in the past when that wasn't a problem for Milan, but do you think their current defence and midfield is capable of defending with minimal assistance from the three players in front of them?

Will Kaka be required to get a mohawk as part of the deal for him to join Milan?

Great player, but can he really play in the same team as Cazorla?

I suspect they are too similar to really function well together.

How about moving Cazorla to a flank with Özil behind Giroud?

Kaka will bring Jesus and values to the mohawk peasants.

Funny you mention that because just today against Cagliari they play 4-3-1-2 and won convincingly.

I'm sure that's what'll happen, but that doesn't change them being similar player who want to occupy similar areas of the pitch.

It'll need an awful lot of movement from the other players to make it work, I think.

Ah, well if they won with 4-3-1-2 in one game...

Cagliari were woeful from what I saw - giving Milan ridiculously cheap goals.

Also, they were playing Montolivo trequartista, so they still had the proper quota of players contributing defensively.
