Lol no way. A lot of Serie A teams are getting new stadiums in the near future, Serie A will rise again. It will take time, at least ten years, but it will.

Hopefully by that time we will get the "40 sul campo".

The biggest issue for Serie A is stadiums IMO.

If/when they sort that issue out, the rest will work itself out.

"The 50 million euros will not completely be reinvested in the mercato." I've read some other reports suggesting the same. Which would make a lot of sense, considering they do have a lot of debt. A great portion of it will be reinvested in the mercato, though, so they're bound to get at least one top player.

Because like any other system, they have a life cycle. It'll take much more time and effort though, imo.

Modern stadiums was one of the reasons why German football got past Serie A.

Yep, I agree, there are definitely other factors, but the stadium-factor is a very, very important one, and it's something that must be set straight.

So what do you suggest, that they throw in the towel and give up entirely?

I think they will be stronger if they spend all €50m on the transfer market (unlikely because of wages and debts) but they should be able to get at least 2-3 quality players.

Unlikely they'll spend it all, when an organisation is losing money like they are people are owed money, some will go there.

When they sold Kaka for €65m (they also sold Gourcuff for €15m) they bought Thiago Silva for €10m and Huntelaar for €15m. The next season only Robinho at €18m was a real dent. The season after they had to pay the €24m Ibra fee and the rest were peanuts.

That's generally how they work, I think it'll be €25m-€30m spend from that, possibly on 2-3 players.

No its not just stadiums, it is about privately owning them. That's where Milan, Inter, Roma and the likes lose out against other leagues, they would attract quality players if they could actually cover their costs better.

If Silva is gone ,then Ibra is as good as gone too..No doubt.

Actually a transfer like Silva to PSG could possibly persuade other big stars to join their club too.Players like Van Persie or even Ibrahimovic for that matter but i guess he's a bit too old for their project.

Falcao is rumored to be their next big transfer target now.And reports believe Atletico havent paid more than half of the transfer fee to Porto for what the deal is reported to be plus i believe they are unable to afford his wages.
