Claims of him being seen in Manchester were bullshit.
Goot to know, cause I went bashing my friend, he thinks Sneijder is still a possibility. Wouldn´t wanna hear him being correct after what I said

Btw, think it´s gonna be a hectic winter transfer window again. Arsenal still possesses a butload of cash after failing to use them now. Their money will get to player transfers rollin

Roma built this squad for the future.

They sent a message, and the message is that it is no longer Totti's team, whether he, nor the millions of delusional Roma fans out there want it to be true

They've gambled.

If they start well, they may get away with not treating existing players very well, but I can't imagine there being much patience if the young players don't come good pretty quickly.

Roma managed to do most of what Juventus had all summer to do within a day. Gago's a smart defensive midfielder who makes very few bonehead errors. He's quite aware of what's going on around him at all times and is a decent passer. Knock him all you want, but if Aquilani lasted the majority of last season in Italy, I'm sure Gago can too. Pjanic is an excellent signing as well. Kjaer as-is is iffy but if he improves, Roma will have the intelligent defender they need in central defence.

I think Roma have put together a pretty nice set of players; not amazing but if this team buys into LA's philosophy, and Totti's negative influence is minimized, they will be a top 3 contender, I think. If they manage to get rid of Totti and replace him with proper player, free of all that drama, they could aim even higher.
All in all, they have the players to put together a very good team ... how well they do this season, would depend heavily on LE, from now on.

Not only that, they spent the entire summer selling the players that they didn't want. We tried to sell today.
