Arsenal got themselves Elneny from Basel for 5M. What a steal. I actually rate this guy, intelligent and hard working defensive midfielder, whether he settles in a dick league like EPL is a different matter.

Cant be serious?

WTF just checked, its legit, but it doesnt cover this current window thats 2 weeks left of. So prepare to see them scramble and buy anything they can get.

Or they will appeal, get the verdict suspended until they buy what they need.

Like Barca a couple of years ago.

Didnt help Barca, they bought while verdict wasnt finalized, but couldnt register any players for two windows when it was. Same will happen to these two, they will scramble while appealing, but when its finalized, which shouldnt take long, they wont be able to register anyone for next summer and next January.

so morata stays this summer :nico:
I dont think that was a worry.

Especially with his form.

Barca needed more then Suarez and goalies, their depth has been a joke. When they were signing Suarez and the goalies they arrogantly thought the ban would be overturned, it wasnt and they had to rely completely on their starting 11 to stay healthy. Which it did most of the time weirdly enough except for couple months injury for Messi.

Now they got Alex Vidal and Turan, plus looks like they signing Nolito and Sane from Schalke so they dont need to rely on average Barca B level players like Sandro, Samper, Munir etc.

Meh like Barca they'll find a way to minimize its effect, and probably get it reduced to one window. A transfer ban like this would be a dream come true for Wenger.

Yet they are going to coast to another league title as it stands and maybe the Copa as well.
The ban hasn't really affected them much like you try to make it sound.

Their first eleven/attack is too good, its that simple. Its why it didn't effect them much, Luis Enrique seems to be a good fitness coach that can get the most out of same few players. Plus plain luck to not get injuries.

If the ban was a fair ban, it should have come into effect immediately, instead they were able to sign Suarez who completed the deadly trident and they would go on and win a treble.

It really is a nothing ban in all honesty.

That's what I'm saying.
Had they been banned in 2014 summer, they wouldn't make a signing like Suarez forming one of the most menacing trio's in football.I don't think they would've won the CL last yr either had that happened.
It was a blessing in disguise for them.It aided Barca more than it affected them negatively.
