i dont know why i looked in here, im never getting nominated, either people dont know me because i dont bitch and complain about our team, or people hate me because i dont like what they stand for. And then theres the 10 or so members i seem to get on with and i think are sound.

What exactly do you mean with the bold part? Before today you didn't even have a chance to be nominated because there weren't any nominations here.

And even if we nominate you, where exactly shall we nominate you? You're not a girl so you can't be girl of the year. You're not a moderator so you can't be moderator of the year. You're not funny (neither am I) so you can't be expected to be nominated for the funniest member award. You're a useful member of course, but people prefer the moderators, bookmakers and some 24/7 members for the most helpful member award.

You're among the 11 candidates I mentioned in the opening post for the best newcomer (among hundreds of new members in 2009) so you already got your acknowledgement. Now, if you're not making in top 5 that doesn't really mean that people hate you. They just find some other 3-4 newcomers as better posters, so far, than you are.
