nokia expert needed!! (8 Viewers)

I have a NOKIA 6230i. I want to transfer video from my PC to the phone, but unfortunatly none are working.
1- What format should the video be?
2- What program can transform mpeg, AVI ..etc to the format needed?

your nokia 6230i supports the 3gpp format and mp4..

search for "avi to 3gp converter" by google and u should find many software that will convert ur avi's to 3gps..

I tried few of the setups (tail and error) but none of the ones I tried worked. Can you give me a hit which one should I chose.
What I did is I double clicked on the setup. A window openned, I chose english to read my choices. I chose one of the above and pressed apply.
Dragged the video, it converted it to 3gpp I bluethoothed it to my mobile. It managed to read that this file is a video but couldn't play it. It told me operation failed.

didnt the 6230 hadnt a cd in the box with nokia manager?
i had it once and it was working fine,
without additional settings,
i cant remember where o got thought,
maybe from nokia's site

Its called NOKIAMULTIMEDIAPLAYER,
u can play and convert many types of formats really easy

or mpegable x4 live, thats even better but a little harder to use,
both programs support avi convertion, even Quicktime trailers

its for K700 but i transfered the files from Z1010 to a 6230 and it worked as fine,
anyway the point is to get the idea, then u can experimentate for optimal results
