Turn to facts. Numbers indicate we have one of the best performing defense in world of football.....as good as they get.

Yes,but how it's gonna be next season?
We didn't heve an adequate sub for canna this season,and just imagine what will be if he was injured.Montero will came in and we will have Thuram and Montero as central defs,which reminds me on our 2003/2004 defence.
And we still have that adequate sub for Canna!

Add there Legro and Kovac and there you have our subs.Doesn't seem so good to me.
and the fact is that our only last year's defence reinforcement was Canna.
I think that we didn't concede more goals thanx to Zebina,I think that Canna was the man in our defence!

Ok I know what you said,and I agree why our defence was bad before a year.
But I think that we must to reinforce our defence with one or two young quality players.Ferrara is gone,so we have Tudor,Kovac,Legro and Montero as our central defs.
I also stated that our greatest def improvement was Canna.

We have two world class CBs,
probably the best duo in the world,
this could hardly get any better,
unless we buy someone like Nesta,
but why our team sould invest so much to have a sub like,Nesta/Canna/Thuram,
Thuram hasnt the age Desaily had when he was still world class,
he is 2years younger than Cafu and 4 years younger than Maldini!!!
he can keep up better than same age Stam,
Thuram isnt finished,
we had no signs of that,
dont loose faith on him,
there is no reason to bench Thuram and we cant affort 3of the best CBs in the world,
we cant make any upgrades in the center of the dif,
the keeper post, either the LB,
our first eleven cannot become any better buying a player for these positions
and a player better or even equal to those, will cost us a fortune
we souldnt waste,
because we have other first eleven weaknesses,
its so simple,
we cant afford a world class CB like Chivu,
there is no reason to keep him on the bench,
we have the need for a decent sub solution
like Kovac who is ready to warm our bench without much complain
and we will buy one more young promissing CB for sure,
but its not a priority,
we cant afford 5-6 players for one position,
we sould do better than Kovac,
we didnt,
end of story,
now we sould look for a sub for zambro(like Chiellini,althought Pessotto did well)
and smth to replace or sub zebina,
RB is a place we may upgrade our defence much easier than others.
Bonera is a solution many of u dislike(including me)
but a young promissing player who may totaly replace Zebina (as he is considered of similar quality) as a RB
and even be a decent, cheap and young sub
with Kovac,Montero and another promissing Massielo type for Canna and Thuram,
is the most logical solution.

our defence wasnt our weak spot this year its souldnt be the our first priority(unless we have the cash to upgrade RB),
subs souldnt cost more than first team players,

Dont underestimate the use of DMs,
a good DM like Davids or Emerson,
can do the difference,
imagine having the line we had this year
and playing Blasi+Appiah without Emerson...

we would definlty concede much more goals,

DMs do a very crucial job,
its the first line of defence,
we are not Real Madrid,
an Italian team like Juventus has two lines of defence,
thats why we get so solid,
with 2 good DMs
the opponent team cant make their game,
Their midfielders and forwards are getting tired before reach our defenders,
exausted before Buffon,
they loose the control of the midfield and the game,
(if the DM can dribble or atleast pass, possesion too),
counter attacks are intercepted on their births,
with harmless fouls on the midfield, FKs noone cant score,
the oposite team after some failed tries plays slower,more carefull game,
their forwards turn back in the midfield to have a chance to touch the ball,
the team is generally attacking much less, slower and passionless,
the game turns to Juve favour,
our defence look more secure than ever,
so an upgrade to our DM will upgrade our teams defence further more,
since are defence was good enough,
we just need a creative DM and we are done,
the better he is than our current options,
the better team we become

OK, so our defence was good last year. But We most definitely can get quite a bit better. who cares about comparing our defence to other teams, when we all know that Zebina for example is fine a sa sub, but frankly makes too many mistakes to be a first team player. What if canna gets injure, say, breaks a leg? then we would be screwed-and we can't be dependant on any one players health.

exactly we really should have good quality backup goalie, but it's less important because there is less chance of injury

we sould have good back up for all of our first team players,
but they cant be of equal value (and quality),
that sould mean we sould sign atleast 5world class players(we dont have any good sub on Camo,Neddy,Buffon,Emo,Zebina),

the truth is we really need them, if we want to be competitive with Milan's,Chelsea's,Inter's,Barca's,Real's bench,
they can handle many accidentation/suspension problems,
but to we have the money needed to pay those wages and make those transfers?
I wish we could but, Moggi said we dont
so we sould take care of our priorities first,
(have atleast eleven world class players, one for every position)
