Leali agent confirms Juve move
By Football Italia staff

The agent of Nicola Leali says it is just a matter of time until he becomes a Juventus player – but he’s unaware of the precise transfer details.

The Brescia youngster will join the Old Lady in the summer, although the representative was not in a position to elaborate on the switch.

“We are waiting for the right time to conclude the operation with Juventus,” Graziano Battistini told TMW.

“We just have to wait for a bit longer before the transfer can be completed.

“A co-ownership or outright deal? I don’t know what agreement the two clubs have reached, I just know that a figure of €4m has been agreed upon.”

Leali, an Italian under-19 international, was handed some games in Serie B this term before Alessandro Calori came in as boss.

Once the latter arrived at the Stadio Rigamonti in December, the young custodian saw the gloves transferred to the more experienced Michele Arcari.

Leali is seen by some as a natural replacement for Gigi Buffon, currently 34, when he eventually ends his career in Turin.

The teenager has also been linked with Napoli, Sporting Lisbon, Manchester City and Barcelona in the past.

I don't think he can possibly be valued at €8m.

Nothing overly impressive in that montage, he seems to parry the ball into dangerous spots quite a bit. Hopefully some guidance from Gigi will fix those issues.
Actually Gigi does that sometimes, just so he can make another save.

Good acquisition.

But we need to loan him out to a Serie A side for the next 3 years. I said 'loan' not that co-ownership crap.
