Sandro is a shell of his former self, Pellegrini has proven he’s not someone that is going to develop and I can’t watch another game of MDS trying to operate on the left. This is a legit concern. We have a lot to learn in finalizing these types of deal, where its obvious the player wants to play for us. Somehow other clubs still manage to squeeze us or pay a unnecesary high fee.

Still, he might end up being a fantastic player for us like Chiesa and a great investment.

Anyways, I strongly think the most important factor this season is how we handle the De Ligt situation. We have time for Zaniolo to find his form and adapt to our playing style, but De Ligt replacement will have to be someone that can slot right in and function asap.

Plus he's likely going to get loaned out anyway, so we are still left with no quality LB. As for RB we aren't even linked to anyone good. For CB there are no strong links as we speak, because we seem to be prioritising unecessary players instead.

On Zaniolo: 40-50 mil is about normal / maybe slightly inflated because of the injuries, for the talent Zaniolo possesses. I'm still waiting for all those names from guys that say there are numerous better players out there for less money.

There are several better or more promising wingers out there. Diaby from Leverkusen comes to mind, so does Gnabry and Anthony. But we have this obsession with shopping domestically and attracting injury prone players.

Clubs need to balance the books and won't mind selling to Juve if they get the right price and they can always blame it on the player by saying he rejected all other offers and their hands were tied.

Fantastic talent. Zaniolo has amazing potential, all we can do is watch, enjoy, and hope he comes through.

These kind of signings are taken for granted here. Massive talents are needed are Juve, like the signings at each time of Valhovic, Chiesa, De Ligt, Pogba and now hopefully Zaniolo.

I don't know if he's going to get loaned out. There are voices who suggest that but so far not many.

At RB we have Cuads and Danilo, that's perfectly fine for now.

For CB there are links to the same players every freaking day, so yeah; far from weak links.

I don't think there are that many elite athletes around with 2 ACL tears to have statistics on that, in footie I can only think of 2 such cases besides Zaniolo - Florenzi and G.Rossi. there are studies that show a higher risk of tearing repeatedly if you have 1 ACL tear though, but Zaniolo has already done that.

It also depends on the used operative techniques. They often use extra stabilising techniques in professional players which brings down the re-injury risk.

Yeah, if Zaniolo stayed healthy, the trajectory he was on would almost 100% make him a 100m+ player.
