To be fair, he was really good at Fio and even played an important role for Argentina. No one could’ve predicted he’d drop off like this. Juve has basically turned into a flop factory for players, like Manchester United. Every player that comes here seems to forget how to play football.

It was a great goal. However, I expected a lot more like these from him. It is only his 2nd goal in 22 Serie A games. He did well today but he likes to hold onto a ball too much. Several times he could have released a ball to Muani when we were counter attacking but he held onto it and was closed down. At 27 years of age, you get what you see. Along with Koop, flop of the season.

Two Premier League clubs have asked for information on Nico Gonzalez for next season, but the Argentine winger wants to stay at Juventus. He is working to get back to the top. [Nicolò Schira]

Would be funny if one of the clubs is Man City. Because they also have another Nico Gonzalez.

In the last Serie A , Nico Gonzalez scored almost half of his seasonal goals (five out of twelve) in the final period of the tournament, starting from April. Taking into account his overall goals in the top Italian league (thirteen out of a total of twenty-seven), 48% are concentrated in the last footballing quarter. [Opta, via TuttoJuve]
