Reading the same as above IB post with Saudi interest in Fottball Italia. So let me get this right, we paid 8M loan, 33 total if we buy. Saudi team offers 30M so that means we lose 3M if this example deal goes through? I know Juve is like a subsidiary of a much larger whatever you want to call it, but sure looks like Juve football is weak leak. Constantly hearing how we need to sell, sell, sell, but feel like management continues to not know how to properly spend the funds.

30m would be great for us as the amortisation for one contract year would be more than 3m.

I doubt we'll ever see 30m, however.

Nico #Gonzalez is out of the #Juventus plans. The update is that he has given the green light to his entourage to negotiate with Saudi Arabia, a destination that he has decided to take into consideration in the absence of other attractive options in Europe. The club that is moving with conviction is #AlAhli, that would be ready to put on the table €30M for the price tag and a rich salary for the player. Even #Juve would benefit from this sale, from the moment that the figure would be enough to avoid any capital losses.

Comolli "30 mill you say? I'll accept 20 mill"

Nico Gonzalez is not very excited by the idea of moving to Saudi Arabia in this phase of his career. Pay attention to the #Atalanta suggestion, that is more liked by the Argentine.

oh here we go and Atalanta make an offer for 10 mill and not a cent more and we'll accept. Fuck knows what career Nico thinks he has, yet to really see it.

Why are we so desperate to sell him? Sure, he didn’t have an amazing season, but the whole team struggled last year. Nico wasn’t even that bad, he worked hard and can play in multiple positions. I actually like him and think he deserves another season to prove himself. Honestly, he was better than Koopmeiners, and he is better than Sancho. I just don’t get why we’re pushing so hard to sell him.

"To date, neither #Juventus nor Nico González have received offers for the player.
The Argentine wants to stay at #Juve and would only consider leaving for an important club."

No club is willing to pay him half the price we paid for him. He hasn't shown any remarkable quality that would be considered at a top club level. I don't know why every player who comes to Juve has low quality and high expectations.
