Dammit youre right Fli. I cant hide this anymore fellas. I hate Arabs. As a supporter of America I try to do my part to defeat terrorism and Arabs running our ports. I routinely call the police on my local 711 manager, order Danishes from the Muslim bakery, and I always, always, lock my door at night so the suicide bombers dont get me.

So I guess my country (USA) is in an uproar because Dubai Ports is an Arab corporation. Oh well, what do you want? A cookie? The US should be upset but not because of the ethnicity of the company. Just the fact that its a foreign country should piss you off. Especially when high end business contracts go to big American countries that outsource them to third world countries whose people dont benefit because they make 3 cents a day. The US is a post industrial country in which the only jobs available to the common man are low paying service occupations and even those are being shipped out. People have suffered and while no one will agree I believe the recession is a result of this. The American people should be pissed at their leaders. The preamble to the Constitution states that the government must "promote the general welfare". Way to go Mr President. Way to go.

I am not really saying that E! All I was saying, with regards to andy's post of how the UAE did nothing about the money transfers, that nobody did anything about it, The Emaraties did nothing about it, the Saudis did nothing about it, and hell even the Americans did nothing about it. In fact America trained and funded them (backed up with our governments). So why does the UAE or the Saudis get the blame, while America doesnt? All of them were at fault! And please don't go 3000 people died, we are a target and all that shit. America is not the only country plauged with terrorism. Egypt and Algeria tasted the brunt of it in the 90's. Saudi Arabia had multiple terrorist operations in the past years, and even more foiled. In fact there was an attack on a major Oil interest in Abqaiq two days ago, luckily it was foiled. My brother is working for that company in that same city (town) btw.

On a side note I just watched 'Jarhead'. It's a satirical movie about the war in Iraq. Yes, Andy, that's indeed my cup of tea. But anyway, there's one hilarious scene in the movie. Our 'heroes' are sitting in a truck and one of them is going on about how heroical this war is. Then another one gives the so called true reasons behind the war: "Who do you think gave the Iraqis those weapons? We did." Of course after that the rest of them answers: "Fvck politics, we're here to fight.".

It seems to me as though, with the little I know, the US have done things like this several times. What the hell is up with supporting violent and hardly predictable military leaders who turn against them later on?
