I haven't been to Shanghai yet but definitely plan on it. Been to Beijing and Hong Kong, but it's not quite what I would expect in Shanghai (though Hong Kong probably comes close).

Oh the Hook is in MD. Its across the river from WV. My favorite spot for fishing. But its out there. My friends and I get stared down by locals everytime we go down.

i have been to HK last summer....and spent loads of time in beijing too..but nothing compares shanghai...its a waste of oppourtunity if u came soo close and returned....but better luck next time....

TRUE STORY:

A sure sign I have been on this site too long even though I have been on less and less in the past year...
last night I had a dream that I was watching a Juve match in the U.S. with Andy, Padovano and what was to be my father in law once upon a time. I was getting ready to throw the 'balloon-o-surprise' onto the field but the marshalls, etc. on the field were ready to attack me to which I was trying to convince them "this is how its done in Italy"...Andy was warming up in the stands running up and down the stairs and asked me to throw it right away rather than when he was playing. Pado wasn't really talking and eating sunflower seeds and my ex or whatever father in law was ranting about how Berlusconi and Galliani ruined the game of soccer...as usual I wasn't listening.
Then I remember Andy playing but the game turning into a water polo match on a soccer field....
At one point Pado turned to me and said "You don't really look like Bobo..you look more like Sergio"
