Watch Andy get a beating from Nick and Burke stand by yelling "OWNAGE DUDE..OWNAGE".
lol how are you going to own me in this discussion?

Firstly, Pancaro was instrumental in our 2003-2004 scudetto campaign securing a starting position and even scored a crucial goal. Secondly he was a free transfer.
Vieri was nothing more than a bonus..we expected nothing and got nothing..no biggie. He did not arrive with much expectation...considering the career turn arounds of Cafu, Seedorf and Pirlo I think the Vieri case is quite isolated.
Stam according to me has been a good buy...Nesta had a hard time adapting so I didn't expect Stam to just fit in..plus he was 32 .. he was a band-aid solution who is doing his part.
Why on earth are you telling me this, Nick? Sure, I might be realllllyy American however I do follow the occasional soccer match or headline or every other thing that happens in the world of football once in a while.

Of course Pancaro was very important on the left-side of defense however I'm certain the likes of Nesta and Maldini had some bearing on how he was going to perform, obviously. Pirlo and Seedorf arrived from Inter, Nick.....Inter. When was the last time someone who left that club became WORSE than before? Pirlo, Cannavaro, to some extent Ronaldo...this is status quo to be honest. Oh, well, everybody except Vieri. :howler:

Amoruso..I don't know enough about him to judge but I'm not delighted nor angry at the purchase..he too is a bonus...Gilardino is our scoring future..Inzaghi is our last minute miracle with Sheva and Kaka scoring more than their fair share
... and Amoruso will find a spot if any somewhere between the these...he is replacing the third striker and his expectations are low.
First of all, this is not Nicola Amoruso we are talking about here...for several reasons. We are talking about Marcio Amoroso, the former Parma Brazilian who scored a decent amount of goals in Serie A, however decided to leave the Parmalat club to experiance the football in Germany with Dortmund. People were expecting a lot from him however he never really settled at the club and was too busy dealing with contract disputes and debacles with other players if I remember correctly. So after about three years or so he left Dortmund and that was really the last I have heard from the player.

It is important to note that seemingly wherever Amoroso travels he becomes entangled with player disputes, as if I remember correctly he never was good friends with Di Vaio at Parma. Then when he left for Dortmund I will never forget when he and Jens Lehman clashed together on the pitch in the middle of the match...Marcio wasnt trying very hard and Lehman came right up to his face thus getting sent off. Rather humorous. But to be honest who really knows how Amoroso will play...doubt he will be anything special though.

Canvas said he had Belgian roots; born in Brussels but has lived in France most of his life
his father is belgian, and johnny was born here. But his father kinda abandonned him, and he went back to France with his mother.

Funny though; they did an item on this on Terzake on Canvas last night (final item, lasted about 2 minutes :D) and they asked some Flemish people, who all went:

"Johnny who?" :howler:
yeah, well the Flemish don't really care about everything that's french-spreaking I guess...
In the french part he's hugely popular. He filled the whole stade roi baudouin one or two years ago
