I don't know about bad moderating tbh. The current mods just seem to all have a different outlook on how to moderate which has led to confusion, I just think a bit more communication and we'd be ok, having said that its not an easy job and you can never please everyone.

On to Zlatan well you can't really blame the player but sure, the Z fan-boys are a pain in the arse, just as are the dp fan-boys, and their constant desire to bicker - its led to many of the more knowledgeable footy posters either leaving or purely posting in offtopic, which is hardly helping the forum.

On the guy himself I tend to agree, he's clearly got all the potential in the world with his close control (which lets be fair excluding ronaldinho is pretty much the best in the biz) unfortunately he lacks the footballing brain and finishing touch to make him world class at this point. I'm not as negative as you though, he's certainly a valuable asset, if a little favoured by capello

Agreed. But I don't consider him an asset. In fact I even think he diminishes Juve's qualities. Zlatan has the potential to be a world class player, but he's not there yet. So we shouldn't consider him as the finished product either. ATM he's arrogant, immature, selfish and hardly cool in front of goal. He still has a long way to go and both he and Capello should acknowledge that. Not playing DP, but playing Zlatan every time is not going to do Juve or Zlatan any good. Playing DP for 3 minutes is a mere provocation. I guess it all comes down to Capello not liking DP.

What we have now is a team that relies on a player, who is so called world class. All of our strategies depend on Zlatan's qualities. And it has become clear quite a number of time he's not on that level yet. So if we keep pretending he is, that'll haunt us in the end.

yeah, amazing how that worked really, I mean we were as different as hitler and gandhi in a moderating sense :D

though to be fair I much preferred the early carefree days of thread derailing!!

And do you think Capello is doing that to destroy Juve??
Because he wants to destroy DP. Yes, you read that right. I do believe Capello has a personal vendetta to settle with Del Piero. Come to think about, that's hardly strange. Capello is hungry for power and TBH, Del Piero is still more influencial for Juve fans all over the world, and possibly even for the Juve management, than Capello will ever be. Anyone who knows Capello knows that he won't accept that.

sev I pretty much agreed with that last post on zlatan, though I do consider him to be an asset, from a financial point of view especially. I think he's got huge shirt-selling power, and being young i think we could easily recoup what we paid for him plus an extra £10m or so

Italian striker Christian Vieri has completed his move from Milan to Monaco.

The 32-year-old had been targeted by Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, although the Ligue 1 outfit rapidly emerged as favourites to clinch his signature.

A statement issued via the Rossoneri's official website declared: "AC Milan [have] traded Christian Vieri to AS Monaco.

"The player will be in Monaco tomorrow morning [Tuesday] to take physical tests and he will then sign a contract with the new club."

Sources in Italy claim that Vieri will set the seal on a two-year deal with Monaco after completing the negotiations which only opened on Sunday evening.

The Australian-born marksman will now spearhead an all-Italian strike partnership at the Stade Louis II, where he will look to forge a partnership with Azzurri colleague Marco Di Vaio.

lol...

I meant you used to post alot in matches and player talk hang out sec and etc, you're not posting like before...why is that?
oh right - didn't know what you were getting at :D

erm, I don't know really, is the simple answer. Matches, well I get to see about 2 games a year so I don't think my input would be particularly valid or relevant there. In terms of the team talk etc i can't ever see any decent room for debate in there anymore. When first joined I used to have hours of fun debating the pros and cons of formastions players and transfer targets but i don't see that anymore, and perhaps i lack the patience or energy to try and start it up

I post a bit now cos I'm quite busy and have less enthusiasm to post since the likes of torkel, magnus, erik, vitoria, jkane (max) who I used to talk with a lot are either gone or rarely post.

Using this logic, Capello won't earn anything out of this, but more hatred in the World...

Look, mate...

I have very deep respect for Del Piero, and he was one of the reasons that made me cheer for Juve, but Juve isn't only Del Piero...

He's only one of 22 players, and he should be treated as one of them, inspite of his great record so far...

I think too that Capello is trying to let Ibrahimovic the highest possible number of minutes to guarantee the win, then he get Del Piero as an additional power...

Let's give them a chance since their way of winning is continuous in a very astonishing way, then if we see that Capello is really doing that against Del Piero and the good of the team, I assure you he'll be sacked before the next dawn comes to the Earth...
