Deliverance is based on James Dickey's experiences in northern Georgia (Rabun County) whilst growing up... It was also filmed in Northern Georgia, though he changed the names of the towns and the river itself...

Ive been working. So no. Though I work the footwear department of the local Dick's Sporting goods store. I dont want to get fired yet but I do plan on hitting a couple next week before a quit.

True Story:

I went home to Asbury park for Christmas and was out kickin' it old skool with my old drinking buddy, the great Bruce Springsteen. This guy named Marc Cohen was on stage at the club singing some queer-assed song about a True Companion or something and I just about had enough of that shit. So, me being Pado picked up a wooden coat hanger and walked up to the little stage and proceeded to beat the piss out of Marc Cohen. Then, I walked back to the bar and Bruce was kind of laughing and said "What the hell did you do that for?" So I said that, as a man, I felt I had to do it. So, the Springer walked up to the stage and I'm there thinking that Bruce is going to help the guy or ask him to not call the cops, but NO! Bruce starts kicking the guy in the ribs and then flys out the fooking door with me about 10 steps behind. Crime of the fucking century, I think.
