I'm pretty sure that wasn't the problem. Actually I've never seen conditions quite like it. You couldn't call it snow, it was more like a thin layer of ice on the pitch. They wanted to go over the pitch with some sort of machine to clear it, but in the end they weren't allowed to do so.
