That's really cool! Something to keep me busy this night! :agree:

No way will Zetterberg be the next Yzerman. Hockey will never see such a great leader for any city ever again, and since times have changed I really doubt he will have close to the same number of points as Stevie.

That said, he's still a fantastic player, one of the best young forwards in the league.
Yeah, Yzerman is a legend. Isn't he second after Gordie Howe in Detroit's all time point-league? Zetterberg might not get as many points as him but he I think he will be able to replace Yzerman, which is what I meant. :)

 England winner
Why's that funny, we have as good a chance as anyone in this comp, things go our way, we can win, of course we could also go out early...

There isnt a team in it we need to be afraid of...
For me its the most open world cup in a long time, there are alot of teams of a similar level, prob as many as 8 poss winners imo

England has been handed a very easy road, even after the groups, if things play out as they should.
How so ?

If it plays out as most expect... we will have to play argentina in the qrt, brazil in the semi and either italy or holland in the final...

How exactly is that easy ?

Personally I dont see how it could be harder than that....

Most of the pundits today feel we will have an easier run if we come second in our group and as such go into the other side of the draw

@Paul - easy group, easy second rounder v. Poland, and then I think I read it wrong. If you are correct, then I screwed up thinking England could not face Brazil until at least a Semifinal.

Most "experts " have predicted the same results for the group stage... except for Brazil's group, which i personally feel australia will sneak it, though that doesnt matter really...

Personally i dont feel any of the groups are hard... some have room for error, but not hard

The last 16 are about half and half for those that have a tough match and those that should really beat their opponent imo

If we keep brazil in as they are favs... Of course england are in as i wish to show their likely route... It would have to go like this :

MATCH 1
GermanyvSweden

MATCH 2

EnglandvPoland

MATCH 3

HollandvMexico

MATCH 4

PortugalvArgentina

MATCH 5

ItalyvAustralia

MATCH 6

BrazilvCzech Rep

MATCH 7

FrancevUkraine

MATCH 8

SpainvSwitzerland

QUARTER FINALS

QF1
GermanyvHolland

QF2
EnglandvArgentina

QF3
ItalyvFrance

QF4
BrazilvSpain

SEMI FINALS

HollandvItaly

SF2

FINAL AND THIRD PLACE

WORLD CUP FINAL
ItalyvEngland

THIRDPLACE
