Only when they really piss me off but any post containing constant references to things like "crapello" is so blatantly against he forum rules its untrue.. and nothing appears to have been done about it
If you ban the members who have used the term Crapello in the past, you will be banning posters such as Vinni, Stuart, and myself included...perhaps a quarter of this forum? Is that really a good idea?

Also, many people have insulted Del Piero in the past, yet nothing was done about them.

So what's the deal now, Zlatan? Are you going to ban this account or are you going to change my ridiculous user name and let me post?

Neither for now. I'm just letting you make your point for now, like I did with Claire, because if I ban this account you wont be able to access your PM box and hence wont be able to read Marty's respons. My suggestion is to lay low and wait for his response, because if you continue posting as normal with this account I'll have to ban it.

So basically you're expecting I don't post anything and stay far away of threads like Nick against the world and games threads?

Yes, until Marty either tells us to unban you or confirms your ban.

TBH I think it's a very fair deal.
Look Zlatan, we both know that it's up to you in reality. Marty isn't exactly a regular on this forum and you're the one who knows what's going on. Since Marty made you a mod he's going to stick with you and therefore I don't have a real chance in defending myself.

Also coming on here once in a while just to check my PM's just isn't worth it. I don't know what I'll do, but I'll leave it for now.

If he asks my opinion I'll give it to him.

Perhaps something could be worked out, but IMO not to unban you immidiately, if that were to be the decision, but rather to extend a temp ban. But in the end, it's not up to me. Any future offense is a permanent ban tho.

Though I obviously don't agree with a temporary ban, I could accept it.

*throws hands up

Looks like you got me. Youre never gonna let me live my outburst down are you?:D
Probably not. Then again; I often get bored with things quite quickly and in all likeliness I'll have shifted my focus on somebody else as early as tomorrow so don't worry. ;)

quick question. just out of curiosity are there like any set rules as to what constitutes a ban? I was just wondering if there was a thread where that stuff is posted.

I agree with Tom that members NEED to stop calling players stupid names. I hate when I see stuff like "Ibrahimoshit" etc

but also Se7en's case is quite special, he got into a lot of arguments that ended up badly and if he isnt gonna respect other people then he should be gone. Se7en's nice things (because hes a nice guy I admit that) were overshadowed by his insults, cockiness, etc etc

Lets analyze some of Capello's post-match comments, shall we?

“Today I realised I have a remarkably strong squad, as we conceded a goal when Milan weren’t doing any damage at all,” he said after the 3-1 defeat at the San Siro. “

Hmm, now that doesn't really make a lot of sense, does it? While we let in a goal, it finally occured to Capello that we have a remarkably strong squad, as if nobody has pointed that out to him before. Not to mention the statement is rather contradictory.

“I don’t think our goalkeeper was particularly tested, as the only real chances went into the net. I told the lads that they are a really strong outfit. We knew Milan were good, but the 3-1 result was too harsh considering the overall performances of the two teams.”

How can he sit back there and make a comment such as this? Was he even watching the match last night? I mean come on, Milan could have easily scored another and we looked absolutely miserable throughout most of the match...the result was not harsh at all Capello, and I think you should stop babying our performances and stop trying to avoid the real questions.

So Capello tells our team they are a strong outfit at halftime or after the match? Is that the only cutting-edge advice he can give our side? Why not just hand out goody bags to the squad after the match?

"Good luck"

Oh, we have certainly heard this one before...avoiding the real questions and problems and continuing on like absolutely nothing is wrong with the side. Lets just wait for lady luck to give us a helping hand so we don't ever have to change tactics and player personel choices...what a fantastic attitude. These statements easily reflect Capello's complacent mentality.

Actually he had his back turned to the pitch and facing the bench at some point:p

Perhaps he was too busy trying to decide which of Del Piero or Mutu should be benched longer.
Perhaps he was ashamed of himself, but does that matter? Because in the end he won't admit his mistake.
