I want to because I think I would add a nontraditional mod.

One who tends to look differently upon things and add a unique view.

If I didn't know it, you sound just like Nick a year ago ... and many others before him.

Thing is, you can look differently upon things and add a unique view now -- without being a mod. Being a mod puts you a little more in the role of feigning to be respectable once and a while ... to keep the sh*t together when everyone wants to have a sh*t fight.

It honestly doesn't feel as appropriate to join in the hurl when you're a mod. There have been times I've wanted to go off and slag someone, but I held back... basically because I felt that pulling mean-spirited remarks would undermine the need to at least feign impartiality as a mod. And if I were that partial, I feel I'd pretty much draw a rift down the posters here ... which basically might jeopardize the freedoms, debate, and discourse most people benefit from here.

That's my serious answer for the day. That's all you'll get outta me today.
