What are you on... What zlatan posted isnt even a 10th of what OPTA has for every single team... Geez... You do realise every stat you see in the worlds press, on tv, from all club websites, from fifa , from uefa etc , from all national league associations etc etc are all supplied by opta...

Wheres zlatans, passing stats, the tackling stats, offsides, lost balls, failed dribbles, succ dribbles, crosses, interceptions, distance covered etc etc ?
No I did not realize the OPTA stats were that in-depth. And I see how you conveniently deleted the part about asking you to post a link of the stats you're talking about...I really would like to see it because I have not been able to find such stats on the internet before. Is it so difficult to post a link?

Anyway.... I wont offer opinions anymore..... it seems you cant have an opinion these days unless it agrees with what came before....
My apologies...I just did not understand what you meant...thought you were being a little too sarcastic. However, it's not all about just making threads for such information.

However he wrote it Tom, doesnt change the fact that what he wrote in that thread in no way deserved a banning... theres plenty of similar posts in that thread and hundreds in any match thread you care to look at.... Using that as a reason to ban is pathetic...

I do think he should have had at least a temp ban for things hes done in the past... But not for this... its an absolute joke...
Well, he actually was literally asking for it Paul...just look at his posts. And as Greg stated, Seven came very close to being banned before, so therefore I don't think this decision is harsh at all...it's not like Seven just decided to post insults today and today only.

Some peeps sure are being tough on our Abbiati in the match thread. Yes he made a big error on the first goal, but the guy played a solid match otherwise, and has been very good in his other 9 appearances. He does seem to lack confidence, but Abbiati is getting the job done. When Buffon went down we were just hoping to survive until the new year in striking distance of the top spot for when Buffon returns -- so far we've exceeded that.

I am still awaiting the link to the match on uefa.com...for some reason they have failed to post it yet. I already have a picture of what the game was like in my mind and I have to say some of the decisions Capello made were quite ridiculous...and that's just looking at the team and substitutes sheet.

And did you lot take a look at the match thread? Sheesh, I do not ever recall such immature behavior on the part of our fans after a loss...they are still arguing over the Del Piero-Zlatan rubbish and the insults being thrown around remind me of 8th grade. Shit like that just pushes people away from the forum, and I can see why Paul does not particpate in such nonsense anymore...amazing that I still feel the need to post my reports on the matches.

Yea, I agree, he did well against a lot of efforts from the Bayern players.

Andy, I took a quick look look at the match thread during the first half, and I could not believe that in the midst of such a disappointing performance the main topic was Ibra vs. DP. When did this place become a school girl's fan club for individual players?

A perfect example of why I limit my footy discussions and try to focus on talking about masturbating and other things which everybody can enjoy :D

Right. I saw some of his saves on FSC tonight, and Abbiati made some difficult ones. He did face a bit of a siege on his goal and only conceeded two goals - one his own fault, the other Treze's fault.

Seems they care more about those two players than the overall performance of the team...every single match it's the same damned thing.

And believe it or not, but your masturbation discussions are far more intelligent than the aforementioned nonsense.
