Venetians are the most unfriendly people I've ever met in Italy. I can't help it. Perhaps they're like that, because they have to cope with so many tourists, but everywhere else in Italy I've been treated a lot better.

How does it work when you play video games with an imaginary brother?? Talking is one thing...see Robert Deniro as Rupert Pupkin. But playing video games..must be a biatch to pause the game...grab the other control ..pause again...grab the other control ... and in between that tell the imaginary brother: "Eat that Navorski"

You may have a point about the people in the city itself....must get a bit old to have to deal with tourists every single day...

outside the city itself, they are much nicer: Burano, Murano, etc.

Well, if you have an IQ higher than 70 you would let the com play with the other team and act as if it's your brother. But I guess you couldn't think it that far through.

I am a major Chianti and Rossese di Dolc'acqua fan).
What is the fascination with chianti.... To My mind little more than something for the tourists or for giving to those relatives you dont really like....

A nice bottle of Aldo Conterno Barolo Granbussia and you will soon see the error of your ways...

    Andrea Costanti
    Banfi
    Gaja (over rated, IMHO)
    and 3 or 4 others...

I'm too lazy/greedy to wait for them to breathe properly.:D

Im not a great Gaja fan either... though a drop of Costa Russi is allways good...

Costanti... Brunello di montalcino 97 is a good drop and even theit merlot, Ardingo is quite enjoyable

A little from tommaso bussola or even la spinetta is more to taste...

Because i dont like what Banfi stand for... They are not traditional producers...

They are essentially jus 2 rich americans who came to italy, threw milions and milions of dollars at the ground and now churn out ridiculous amounts of questionable quality wines at the expense of many traditional producers who stood before them...

They are more wine factory than wine producer...

They are the McDonalds of Italian wine
