How do you come to that conclusion? That it's the freeest society on earth that is.
In both the way the laws are written and the way they are executed, French law and the legal system go to lengths I've not seen anywhere else to ensure civil liberties. In France, if a citizen is wrongfully arrested, the State is held liable and compensation is made to the injured party. In America, the State can do no wrong and if you were arrested wrongfully (example: served with a warrant you were already free on bond for) the courts tell you it's likely your own damn fault and the police have immunity.

Lol. Did I tell you I kept being recommended Stella by the bar tenders in the US?

The Belgians consider Stella to be piss. Seven will agree I think.
That's funny. A few months back I was frequently ordering Stella in the bars (it is all the rage in Raleigh at the moment), and some folks in this forum were calling it the Budweiser of Belgium. After that, the bug was in my head, and I don't like Stella so much any more. :D

Unfortunately, I really like draught beer and Stella or Harp or Guiness are typically the best available on draught.

Are Frenchmen typically circumsized at birth? Because I like being cut, and I'm not so sure about those flaps of skin getting in way of my wank-shoe experience. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS.

I guess that's true. I've always liked their strong belief in secularism as well. But then again Im pretty much anti-Christist, anti-Muhammadist and anti-yahwist.
I'll make you a t-shirt:

Love Jesus. Hate the Christians.

Baggio: AC Milan's Maldini should have 3 Ballon d'Ors
    tribalfootball.com - October 5, 2005

Italian legend Roberto Baggio says he can't believe AC Milan defender Paolo Maldini has never won the Ballon d'Or.

Baggio has won the award twice and said yesterday: "There have been three years in which I was convinced Paolo would win the Ballon d'Or. I can't believe he's never won one.

"I have always said that for seriousness, intelligence, bravery, career, victories, education and all that that he has done and still does, Paolo deserves that acknowledgment.

"And sincerely I am surprised myself by the fact that he has still not won it."

Whenever I enetered the bar I'd say : "hello, I'd like some genuine American beer, Sir"

"I don't know bout American, Sir, but I can recommend you our most popular beer here : Stella"
You were lucky. Stella is better than any mass produced American stuff. We do have some very good micro brews however. I really like a Northern California beer called Blue Star.

    But you can sue. :)

You never know though. A few more goals like the ones last weekend and he could be in the running. :)

Yeah I do. But then again Belgians are quite picky when it comes to beer. And I guess we do have a lot of options here. If Stella's the best you can get, it's probably more wise to drink something other than beer.
