LOL Good job Inter. After such a great start two weeks ago people really thought you would have your act together. Well, I guess not.

Once again Inter's defense is costing them points early in the season, and you cannot even say Inter looked all that good going forward as well. Palermo really owned the match on both fronts and outplayed the side that is worth about five times they are. Inter came back late in the match with two rather cheap goals, however it was not enough. Palermo deserved to win and Del Neri's attacking 4-4-2 will certainly be fun to watch throughout the season.

What a joke Inter.

The real joke is Mancini. The most over-rated self-centered personality in Serie A who believs his own hype. After a 3-0 win over TREVISO (cough TREVISO) at home he already began speaking of CL and Scudetto and Coppa Italia...
Last season the first game they lost was against MILAN in the second half of the season...this season it took only two games and they would have us believe that this was the best team in Europe...

    What a joke indeed....

Mancini is indeed a joke. The tactics and player personel choices he made today were incredibly stupid and nonsensical... playing Kily Gonzalez on the left and Veron and Pizarro in midfield all the while trying to be a bit more conservative away from home just doesn't make sense. If it aint broke, why fix it. Mancini's big mouth is not the only thing causing Inter problems right now...that performance was just disgusting.

If they make no effort to read about the club and our history and only care about the next match in which we "better win" they could be considered a gloryhunter. I remember one of your posts a few days ago in which you stated the reasons to be a supporter of Juventus...look at eagle's signature. That post of yours is exactly what I'm talking about when we discuss the traditions at our club...if you don't care about the traditions, you're at the wrong club. As I stated earlier, you can obviously see who cares about the values and who doesn't.
I do indeed agree with what i wrote the other day... I personally hold the history and traditions of my club very highly... However Im not sure whether not knowing etc constitutes a glory hunter... Maybe it does...

Yes, I know. And I'm probably at fault for believing too much of what Parks states, not being able to form my opinions from a first-hand account. Hopefully within the next couple years I will be able to travel to Italy and experiance this myself, because I should.
Oneday you will get there andy, As for parks... IMO, its a good book, but in my experience its very biased and reflects little reality... Thats not really a criticism as its very hard to be completely objective when your involved in something rather than looking in... you allways see things fropm a different angle...

Well, that's difficult to say now when I think about it. Inter has not really won anything for the past 17 years besides the UEFA Cup, so I'm not sure. Replace Inter with Milan and you might have a case of gloryhunting.
Still not convinced... Even if as a young man you choose milan... If you then stay with that team through good and bad... are you a glory hunter...

That piece was part of my explanation for being a Juventus fan, and you asked what sets me apart from other gloryhunters. I did not really go in-depth with the explanation beause last time I did that it was not welcomed very nicely by a few posters here. Non-Juventus fans of course.
Happy to hear the explanation... I didnt actually mean that you are... i meant if that was 'your' definition of glory huinting how do you seperate your own case into a different basket...

A couple good and bad notes from the EPL:

Man United and City finished up 1-1 and my compatriot Reyna supposedly had another good match. After the first few weeks Reyna was the best player in the EPL, supposedly.

Borough beat Arsenal 2-0, so another difficult season is ahead of Dial. Midfield is suspect there..

Fulham drew with Newcastle 1-1...my compatriot Brian McBride scored once again and has three goals thus far in the EPL. Owen did not score on his debut.

Tottenham and Liverpool played out to a scoreless draw...what's going on Benitez???

And Chelsea beat Sunderland 2-0, extending their winning and clean sheet streak to five games in the new season. It will be another easy title for the Blues again and I wonder if they could possibly go the season unbeaten..
