Belgian beer rules. You should all try Duvel. Oh hell, you should all try 5 Duvels. Though Erik should know that that can be too much for you non-Belgians ;).

I tried Duvel all the time I was in Belgium, I guess this won't be called trying anymore. Cimay bleu is amazing as well. But I don't understand why Stella so much popular when a beer like Duvel is around.

I would not say so
Number 1 beer is the Belgian beer, absolutely no competition there.
Number 2 beer is the beer from the Netherlands, smooth, satisfying and always there to have a good time.
Number 3 beer has to be Danish, their beer has a unique taste.
I would list a few other brands here before getting to a decent German beer.

Stella sucks. Most of my friends drink Duvel, but that's not really normal amongst college kids :D. Sure, Stella's a lot cheaper, but Duvel is a lot better and if you really want to get drunk, 7 Duvels are a lot more likely to do the trick then 10 Stella's.

Have you tried Rochefort?

Now that I'm in top shape thanks to our coach who wanted us to have a horrid preseason, I'm not much of a drinker anymore. Before that though, I could put aside my fair shair of Duvel :D. I even amazed my dad at some point by nearly drinking as much as him.

What? Yes, our parents teach us to drink.

Yes I have. Leffe and Hoegaarden are good as well.

Well I've only tries Stella to be honest, and thats in my top two, so i can't exactly disagree with that yet!
Well, I don't like Stella very much, but compared to foreign beer it's very good. We have a lot better here though.
