Andy, I'm going to make a small calculation for you so pay attention.
In Holland, at the moment, we pay €1.45 for one liter of petrol. Now, one gallon is 3.78 liters so we pay €5.48 for one gallon.
With today's exchange rate between the euro and the US dollar, that means we pay
US$6.75 for one gallon of petrol.
Your turn, cheapskate
Dieselprice is 77% of the petrol price so that would amount to US$5.20 per gallon
LPG is 31% of the petrol price so that would amount to US$2.09 per gallon
But who the hell drives LPG anyway... It would be a struggle find a good second-hand LPG car for a nice price in this country. Having a petrol car changed would cost you a fortune.
