my neighbours and I just say hi to each other and occassionally talk. sometimes when my mother or my neighbour is cooking a great meal we'll give a portion to them. sadly, that tradition seems to be lost

Although here in KL, I can proudly say that the town or neighbourhood I live in - is considered to be the best.

Oh and one more thing - I just thought about this when I was standing on my balcony just now. Remember Kaiser, Jeeks, we talked about the neighbourhoods we live in last night on msn? Well check out my view.

I live in a ghetto
OK I found a better picture. The previous one was the view on the backside of the house, this is the view on the front side. At least I have a tramstop right in front of my house - direct connection with the city center and the beach

Different angle:

I lost two bikes in there cause I forgot where I parked them
When I saw the picture, that was the first thing to occur to me.

Man, I wish I lived in Amsterdam. In Dubhlin, if you want to park a bike, you lock it to a street sign or a convenient fence. It's about even odds it'll still be there when you get back.

Oh it's only trainstations and stuff where they have those. Rest of the city you gotta tie 'm to something else and the odds are NOT in your favour that it will still be there when you get back. I had 3 bikes stolen in a year.

LOL

And who do they have to be such shit bikes? Really though the sight of people cycling to clubs then cycling home drunk was too much for me.
cause shit bikes are cheap. Junkies steal them and then sell them for 5 euros so they can afford some weed again.

Do it here and they'll leave you the wheel. 10 times outta 10 :D
I once parked beside another cyclist who'd locked his bike by the front wheel. When I came back, they'd left him his wheel, and taken mine. The rest of my bike was still safely locked. :( I hate bike thieves like little else.
