When I saw the picture, that was the first thing to occur to me.

Man, I wish I lived in Amsterdam. In Dubhlin, if you want to park a bike, you lock it to a street sign or a convenient fence. It's about even odds it'll still be there when you get back.

Oh it's only trainstations and stuff where they have those. Rest of the city you gotta tie 'm to something else and the odds are NOT in your favour that it will still be there when you get back. I had 3 bikes stolen in a year.

cause shit bikes are cheap. Junkies steal them and then sell them for 5 euros so they can afford some weed again.

I once parked beside another cyclist who'd locked his bike by the front wheel. When I came back, they'd left him his wheel, and taken mine. The rest of my bike was still safely locked. I hate bike thieves like little else.
