With Sydney Crosby's signing and the prospect of him playing on the same line as Mario, the Pens will be able to attract veteren free agent players who want participate in the "hype." Reports are saying that demand for Crosby sweaters and shirts have already reached incredible levels, and that extra revenue could make it easier for the Pens to get their new arena, something they desperately need.

God I can't wait for the new season to begin. I think the lockout just made me care for the sport more, after realizing life without it blows.
