What's with the mentally challenged threads popping up that basically say the same thing on juventuz.com i.e. Milan buy CRAPPY Vieri and Juve closer to Gilardino (even though everyone including Fiorentina has expressed interest in Gila..except Juve). The usual pigeons here think Milan is closing its transfer campaign with the bringing in of Vieri...FFS he was another Rivaldo/Crespo type 'catch': little $$ which COULD pay off BIG....worth the risk...HOWEVER, we know its not the ACQUISITION of the summer campaign. That will be either Gilardino, Ronaldinho or Adriano ( )

Well if Gilardino wears rossonero next year I can't see us keep 6 players competing for 2 spots. Sheva-Gila with Bob and his good friend Pippo as back-ups shall suffice (though I'd rather keep Crespo). Maybe Tommy can play the odd Coppa game, but even he will prove superfluous, also since we can use the Christmas tree formation as well. Anyhow, while I could have easily imagined Vieri relaunching his career in the EPL, Milan was probably the best Italian choice for him and for us because 1) older players in Milan are like a good wine : they get better with time 2) this is in line with our "proven players for immediate results" policy 3) as we speak, every interista is either mourning or green with anger.

Yeah one has to wonder what crap we give our players to actually not see them triple their muscular mass within 2 weeks and become more injury-prone than a cable-less bungee-jumper with a space rocket up his arse.
