Sergio, that depression shit can fvck you up. Congrats on catching it and seeking treatment before it stuck you in a deep hole. Get better my friend.
Thank you my friend.

Your kind words will not go unnoticed.

The funny thing is, once I realized that this may have been a problem, I tried to do what most men would do, and that's just ride it out. I just couldn't do it anymore. Really bad mood swings, really deprressing thoughts (including suicide on 2 occasions), and no attention span for more than 30 seconds made me realize that I need help.

The medication is but a first step.

And......................in other news

I

GOT

Sergio depression is a serious illness. Im glad your doing better. What path of treatment or therapy did you follow?

And what car is it? Are you gonna pimp it like those wannabe rappers from the burbs with their 72" rims and 37 inch screens under their seats?

Yeah, I realize its serious. To be honest, I really don't know how it came about. Over the past 10 years, I've had moments where I would be down for a couple of days for no reason and then be fine, but this last episode, the one that I'm just getting out of, lasted for more than 2 weeks. That is scary. I'm still not all the way back, but I'm getting there.

I haven't seen a therapist yet. I need to call the hospital to set up an appointment. The medication they have me on is something fairly new called Lexapro. Its a small dosage (10mg), but I think its finally starting to work after 5 days.

And in regards to my car, its a 2005 Mustang Convertible.

No pics yet. After all, it is 11:30 at night

A new Stang eh? The new ones are real pretty. What color and extras?

I dont believe medication is good as a first choice because of the side effects, but its your discretion. Prolly works best for you. Glad to see your taking action about it.
