I think the real problem is posters having difficulty casting aside their Juventus bias and looking at things reasonably. It's also difficult sometimes to hold a football debate when the other party is not willing to listen to what you have to say and label you "not a Juve fan" because we criticise our team. They seem to get offended when we try to make sense of a situation and point out our weaknesses, even though we are "supposedly" on the same side here. The problem is not many can have a civilized debate on this forum.
Very very very well said. Because of posts like this, I think you are truly the best poster in this forum. Simply well said. For people, who don't have English as their native language, this is simply a joy to read :D

And...............I have to agree with Chxta
......I have one thing against him (Nick). He looks down on people who don't share his views (I am guilty of that sometimes I admit), and instead of trying to reason with them, he gets insultive.

Simply can't agree more.

It's mindblowingly strange as well. Wouldn't it make you more of a fan when you can speak about your team's weaknesses? Doesn't that mean you actually KNOW them? There is a difference in saying "Juventus are shit" and "Juventus are playing like shit" you know.

Anyway... Back to normality.

A sad week this one... for all cycling fans.

In a low key press release with but these few words :

“Announcing my retirement a little more than a week before the Giro d’Italia is a very hard decision for me, but it’s an honest one. The fans will understand. But for an old guy like me, who is given so much to cycling and received so much from it, it is more important to know when to choose the moment to leave."

The greatest rider of his ilk in the history of our sport bode farewell to the professional peloton forever.

A larger than life showman who gave so much to the sport and changed the shape of cycling forever both on and off the bike.

Yes his 189 victories will go down in the history books but he will be remembered for so much more.

Like a cycling god among mere mortals, he regularly clashed with cycling's conventional wisdom.

He expressed himself in his most unique way winning the hearts and respect of all.

A man whose personality can be summed up so simply in his own words...

"If i wasnt a professional cyclist, I think I would be a porn star"

Farewell to one of the true greats!!

I replied your post in the transfer talk, and said, that you don't know how I think about my team. You don't even know one thing about what I am thinking about Juve and their performance. I have always admited this season, that we lack a creative force. I have admited that Milan play better football than us this season. I have always critizised my team when they played bad, and praised them when they did well. If you really want to see, what I think, than here I have a link for you
http://www.goal.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=56885&progr=3

I wrote the second comment (alex). there I critizise my team. I respect Vinman and also Denco, but when you say that your team sucks, you can say it in a kind and not so agressiv way, like Vinman does. If he would tell me his posts into the face, he would be probably screaming. This is not needed. Thats why many members (Juve_Kosova or Gina) think, that he doesn't support Juve. Something, I have never said. And here, please read the last sentence again: I have never said, that somone who talks shit about his team, isn't a fan.

You base your opinion about me on one single post, when I said, that Stam was crap. If you would have a brain, and would have read my comment about Stam and Zebina a little bit better, you would have seen, that I didn't write, that Zebina is better than Stam, I said that Stam is football's most overrated player. I didn't say that Zebina is better, as he is also crap, but still I think that Stam is overrated, and he has nothing to loose in Milan's defense. Cafu is better than him on the wing, Nesta and Maldini are better than him in the centre. You will have to agree here.

And.........you Milanista don't tell me, where I am allowed to post on a Juve forum or not. Thats a bad joke.
I have had a few days away from this forum (I'll explain why in another thread), and I come back to more and more ppl thinking I am not a fan, I dont like Juve, etc....

Here is the facts... I AM A PASSIONATE JUVE FAN !!!!

When my team plays well, I will give them all the praise and respect that they deserve....anyone who has been here for more than 2 months will know that

I've been here since September 2001, before the big "crash" of the forum in 2002 (thats why it says I joined in 2002...after the forum came back up) and I've praised Juve many a time, and I have criticized them when I thought they were playing badly, or if certain players should be sent on their way....(remember Paramatti ?? or how about good for nothing Salas ??!!)

I dont think our team is garbage, but I think we are PLAYING like garbage as of late

I really dont give a rats ass what ppl like Juve-Kosova or Gina Genesee street thinks...maybe they would understand me more if they knew better English...

Paul (Shadowfax), Denco, Andy, and a few others know the score, and can tell it like it is. Dont tell me that Paul isnt a fan- he damn near goes to all the games FFS !!!! Forza Paul !!!

Nick knows his calcio also....he knows when Milan is playing good (which is alot lately !!) and when they struggle. A true fan will speak the truth about their team.......

One last thought...... When Roma is playing bad, dont you see all these Roma "fanatics" show up at their training complex to give them shit ??? Are they not good fans for letting the team know what they think ?????

Couldn't agree more, and once again: I have never said that you are not a true fan. I see you as a die hard fan. Otherwise you wouldn't be so depserate when Juve plays poor.

You can only be angry about something, you really hate.........or truly love!

It would be easier to compare if you made it a ratio. Of course the track is so long that it can support so many fans in one place, but break that down to a football field, and I bet that there are just as many people at a lot(spelled correctly) of sporting events, Facsimile.
