Bring it on! :)
Well about this latest 'problem' on Juventuz about certain fans.

Everyone, or rather the select few who think they are above have troubles with members who don't cut it for them.

First of all in a real world basis, this is everywhere. This is the MAJORITY of football fans. You support Juventus. A team whos fanbase is made up of worldwide fans exactly like those you slam on this forum. Who set the stnadard? Are they all trying out to be an exclusive 'ultra' like Nick? No, they probably couldn't care. But ask Juventus what they care about more, the people who worship and study the squad or the millions of fans who buy the products.

Without these fans, you have no Juventus as you know it. I realise this and I'm a Pool fan. It's obviously ten times worse with Juve.

Is this even a big deal? No. Who cares what someone knows about a football team. You watch football for your own reason, do what the heck you want and have whatever opinion of whatever player you want. These people have as much right as you do to post here. This is a public forum not an exclusive club. Who the hell are you to tell them what they should be? Maybe they aren't that smart, big fvcking deal. You think you calling them 'imbeciles', 'idiots' and whatever else because they don't match up to your expectations of a REAL football fan helps? A real football fan is exactly that. You are the minority afterall.

If the owner wants these people out of this forum he will ban them. You don't pay any fees, you didn't build this site, so I find it slighty annoying that certain members go around bullying others.

A kid supports his club the same way you do, he comes on here and find something he likes. You slam him and label him as trash. Real fvcking nice attitude.

Secondly and most importantly to this forum. They want as Nick would have it, a forum of "Dencos, Shadowfaxs and Andys".

Do you really think the Incubos and Shadowfaxs of forums would be here if they were just another member? They can pretend they don't like how it is but indeed they do. This little thread of Nicks seems to be everything to him. He's here for the action, to try and be controversial. A Milan fan on a Juve board, take no shit kinda guy that knows more than you do. It's the same wherever you go online, you will find this.

Of course they don't want a forum full of people who can match them. And although there is a friendship here with the americans, i'm sure others, just as intelligent have gone by the way because they collided with the BIG GUNS.

Nick if you disagree, a mod close this thread. If he disagrees it isnt important and he can make another one right? I bet that is unthinkable.

This isn't inclusive. Just using these names as examples of these kind of people. Could not be true in this case.

Well I dunno :undecide:

Wait a minute. So Turin's football fanbase is not made up of half Juventus supporters? If you are alluding to all Juventus fans being simply glory hunters you might want to rethink that.

I think the real problem is posters having difficulty casting aside their Juventus bias and looking at things reasonably. It's also difficult sometimes to hold a football debate when the other party is not willing to listen to what you have to say and label you "not a Juve fan" because we criticise our team. They seem to get offended when we try to make sense of a situation and point out our weaknesses, even though we are "supposedly" on the same side here. The problem is not many can have a civilized debate on this forum.

No I don't want to rethink anything. And no that isn't what I said.

Are they? You tell me?

Juventus are not the club of Turin, they are the club of Italy. Right? Besides that wasn't even my point. My point is how many Juve fans are there worldwide compared to that in Italy? They are a world club.

What does this have to do with thinking objectively and being able to hold a civilized debate?

Nothing, that's not my point and thats not why you and others are judging certain fans.
It's not any of us judging fans. The posters who do that are the ones who say we are not Juve fans because we criticise our own team.

No it isn't. Because I, not once, have slammed someone else because I think I'm better than them. I've been respectful to every member on this board and known my place.

I'm not shouting to be a moderator and I'm not running around putting people down. I would also leave, right now, if I'm annoying people here.

Ask and I'm gone.

I have nothing against Nick btw.

I have one thing against him. He looks down on people who don't share his views (I am guilty of that sometimes I admit), and instead of trying to reason with them, he gets insultive.

Ok your off the hook then I guess. But I mean in general, it's a common thing. I've never understood it thats all.

Anyways let it pass, not looking for explanations here. Just putting it out there so some people might think a little in future ;)
