Fighters are not disbanded

Curva scirea was made up of loads of small (some not so small) fighters groups (and other groups)
All these groups were banded togeather as B&W fighters gruppo storico 1977. so as to represent unity and to have a single group of leaders to organise within the stadium.

It is only this name that is gone... the individual fighters groups remain.

When the gruppo storico banners were removed, the individual fighters groups banners also left curva scirea temporarily.

They have returned and fighters are again present.

The small group running the curva have changed and these are the people represented by the name drughi

Are you English or Italian? I always imagined there would be problems for non-italians joining the fan groups in Italy. Not the case?

Yeah I know that about Drughi, however I thought I saw somewhere that the Fighters disbanded this year. Guess I didn't read correctly then.

Seems like Milan and Juve have the same issue Paul which they don't really address. At San Siro, the Curva Sud is regulated by the Tigre and FDL and the old school members who command respect but in Curva Nord the area allocated to the home fans is made up of the rejected groups of the Curva Sud who cause HAVOC week after week and terrorize the visitors below. I have had issues with those thugs and they are not afraid to pound on anyone be it a Milanista or visitor...they usually gang up 10 against 1 because they are worthless one on one.
Seems like Delle Alpi has the same issues...outside Curva Scirea..am I right?

Fighters gruppo storico 1977 disbanded this year... But that was just a name that contained numerous fighters groups and other groups... Not an actual group

However, nowadays the Delle Alpi seems more full than it was earlier in the season. It does seem that since Drughi came back the stadium looks better.

its exactly the same situation at San Siro....the FDL leaders don't even try to 'handle' the thugs above the NORD. However, once in a while a few of them make their way into the SUD where they are easily spotted out.
(the sh*t disturbers).

I have gotten my fair share of flares, coins and balloons hurled my way at Delle Alpi..all part of a visitors welcome.

Yes, Theres allways a new enthusiasm and expectation when someone new steps in... It was the same last time.. More people on the curva and some extras elsewhere to see what show they put on....How long will it last though?

Personally im not sure... Not sure that drughi have done that good a job so far.. barring their rebirth against madrid.

The best week for atmosphere was a couple of weeks later having drughi and also fighters members on the megafone at seperate parts of the curva

I dont see where management could come into it really.... Permission to run curva nord comes from scirea... As i remember the old organisers refused several groups that wanted to encamp in nord... dont know why

That was the Reggina match I presume? The stadium certainly was louder than usual.

The Madrid match was amazing, haven't seen anything like that in a while.
