so then I guess the monkey chants that England faced in Spain were ok too, then

but wasnt the Spanish FA fined ???
No thats not the same vinni,

There are no laws about political free speach... Rightly or wrongly its an accepted part of our lives... and a massive part of football.

Their comments may be distasteful but it is allowed... As such we must accept it

Racism on the other hand is not acceptable in any way shape or form

It sounds like you are saying that one is the lesser of two evils and I can see that, but still, there is a line which draws ok from not ok, and this is flirting with the line..

To be honest, I wasnt that upset about it, its happened there before, and its par for the course, I guess....

These ppl did it to incite the US players, just in the way the Spanish fans did to incite the England players

Worthless.
Worthless or not, I stated an opinion and it turned out that Shadowfax was saying the same thing. Personally I do not tolerate politics or any other controversial issue interferring with football or any other sport but this is how it is *sigh*

That was a great game.

Unfortunately, Kentucky broke my heart again.

Another reason why College Basketball is better than the Pro's.
You got that right buddy. I don't think I have ever seen such an exciting NCAA Championship in my lifetime, at least since Maryland won it a few years ago.

Oh, and that Sparks three to tie the game was sick. First I thought he stepped on the white, however the refs made the right call, and Tommy Izzo got the boys going again. Good stuff.

You're right, Vinnie, Mex team will not have to go thru anything like that when they play at Colombus in September....you know why??? Simply, because, 70 % of the spectators in Colombus will be mexican or from mexican origin.

Meaning? Mexican team has more followers inside US than the US team.....
Funny. They still love their own NT so much and taunt the US, however they come crawling into our country everyday.

Doesn't make much sense really.

What exactly is the reason they should be fined / banned ?

Yes their comments were/are in bad taste... but the fact is football stadiums around the world are places of free speach and especially politics.... Go to italy you hear worse at allmost every match

Unfortuanately its the way of the world and a big part of the game everywhere... Stadiums are the home of political statements for the common man... Be them Right or wrong
Don't these Mexicans have any sense? I mean they are basically supporting a mass-murderer with the chants of Osama. Seriously those people are just imbeciles.

Yes, but its not all doom and gloom for Kentucky.

They only lose one senior (Hayes), and four of their biggest contributors (Rondo, Morris, Bradley, Crawford) were all freshmen.

If they can get a decent recruiting class, they could be the Pre-Season #1 next year.

Yeah Rondo seems like a good pickup. You see the way he handles the ball? It's pretty sick.

Hayes was a classy player, that's for sure.

Once those Fresh become Juniors, other teams better watch out because they will be good.

So that makes it alright for them to chant Osama, then expect us to give them a good life here in the US? Puh they can stay in their shithole cuz we don't want them here.
