Doesn't surprise me that Romey likes Armstrong but to be honest Romey is a hypocritical s-o-b at times...first he goes on how he hates soccer than mentions that even though WE (clones) hate it that regardless we still have good players (Donovan) and that the woman's team is the best then says "imagine if we put our head to it". Same with the Tour he disses it years ago about staying on a bike and being into s&M and as soon as one of our guys wins its the best sport since sliced bread. That attitude pisses me off. Its precisely that back home Cycling is under Curling as popularity yet no one has a problem saying "Lance is one of the best ever" or "Lance is the worlds best cyclist" which is not even entirely true. If he raced half as many as his colleagues I doubt he would be as successful.
Its just that he and his team painted this "great one" picture that is extremely self-traced..so to speak.
Greg had the respect of Indurain, Bugno and Chiappucci (top cyclists) then for various reasons...Lance's attitude is "I don't give a sh*t" I'm the Champ ..give me my victory.
