I don't appreciate the fact that it says Juventuz regular next to my name..and later it may say Juventuz Champion, etc. I think there should be an option for the OTHER fans like Forza Milan, Kaiser Franco, Aca..well Aca will probably tell us how he appreciates being part of this wonderful community and actually loves everything and everyone ;)
So seriously Mods how about some of us get something like "Outsider Regular" or "OTHER Regular" or "Rival Champion" ...something to think about.
Well considering must of your posts are about juventus, thats why you are a juventuz regular.

And besides its juventuz meaning you are a regular/champion to this site, rather than juve as a club.

It wouldnt make sense to have another title.

Yes Mac, thats true, but most forums allow for custom titles... personally i like the idea as it allows more freedom of expression

Actually thats a different thing in VB. The custom titles is different from the rankings. It would be below it. Custom title is 'your own' title rather than your site ranking.

Except Martin hasnt installed it i guess. And yes i agree it would be cool to have it also. So one send a request to Martin :D

Rete.it had an article asking why is it that Lippi claims nothing is every wrong with the team when they lose and refuses to explain the situations at hand. They basically go on to state that Lippi's refusal to deal with situations is more than a slap to the journalists trying to do their jobs but also to fans keeping them in the dark about their team...so "fans"..what do you think?

I personally think coaches have a duty no an obligation to explain things and be a spokesperson for the team...athletes and management sometimes forget that without us they are NOTHING...they seem to treat fans like a hassle rather than their "raison d'étre".
Is it just me or EVERY time Lippi says before a match that: 'Defeat would not a disaster' etc we lose?

We don't really need an explanation made by Lippi to tell us what's wrong, you just have to turn on the TV and catch a Juve game and everything is pretty much clear.

I personally don't think it's his duty. What should he do? Telling the whole wide world how this or that player is underperforiming and putting him even more under the spotlight (that, especially in Italy with the journalistic sharks is not really a good idea), admitting they are a bunch of crap and that he doesn't see the light? We need moral boosters, not bashers. It's enough he yells at them at training, no need for the public to eavesdrop. Besides, with that he would also admitt that the staff is doing something wrong aka Moggi is a penny pincher and one can never expose the boss.

Because he is the coach..because he has accepted the responsibility of being the scapegoat when things go wrong and the "genius" when things go right. He has no qualms about talking when things go right in which case people really don't care..in that case he should step up the plate and describe in his mind as coach and visionary for the squad what he think went wrong. Press conferences are part of sports as it sells papers which advertise the team in a non-traditional way and give the fans who dish out hundreds if not thousands a year some peace of mind.

Actually coaches never do that which is why they are coaches. Actually they will reverse this pre-conceived notion we have in our heads as fans that ONE or TWO players ruined it...a coach will come out and defend his team but give a reason (whether valid or not) and try to make sense of the situation and as I said before offer a peace of mind. I really don't recall any coach in the history of Serie A saying this player played terribly and as a result we lost. A coach will re-assure.

No again he would not do that...your talking this way as if coaches do it all the time?? Even Cosmi who has a circus trainer for a clown does not utter one bad word about him...why in your right mind would you think Lippi would??

Lippi's case is getting on many nerves because he holds extra long press conferences when they win big and offers the very uncreative and unfair (to the fans) "no comment" and "gag order" when they lose.
