It basically reveals the truth about Giuliani and Hillary and goes on to say that voting for someone because they are most likely to win is dumb. The whole purpose of voting is so that you can pick the candidate that benefits you. It kind of hurts me that you can't read my long posts. I spent a lot of time on this one and I really put a lot into it. Thank you for being a friend. ;)

they all suck, TBH...

could I vote to have Ronald Reagan's corpse lead this country, because that would seem to be the best choice available :eyebrows:

The country will go straight to hell if Hillary is elected, so I gotta vote for the only candidate that has a chance of beating her- Rudy Giuliani
Don't tell me you used to be a Ronald Reagan fanboy. That would be too easy :D.

I don't think Hillary would be that bad a choice, however I wouldn't want to have her as my president either. She seems hollow and is capable of just about anything. Rudy Giuliani is someone I'd deem acceptable, but what's wrong with Obama then, Vin?

The only international experiance Rudy has had is buying hot dogs from the 7th Avenue Persian street vendor.
 Good one.

Obama would be a better choice than Hillary...but just because he has a degree in international relations doesnt mean he'll solve our problems.
But I would say this country's biggest problem right now is that we have no credibility in the rest of the world at the moment, which kills our international business relations, kills our ability to garner collective intelligence to support global anti-terrorism activities, etc. Our own idiocy as viewed overseas has suddenly lent credibility and legitimacy to crackpots like Hugo Chavez who should have been laughed off the face of the earth -- but now seem semi-reasonable by comparison to a lot of people.

I mean, we were that close to brokering a real degree of peace between Israel and Palestine not all that long ago. Now we're looked at like idiots firing off guns at random who can't be trusted and deserve ridicule and indignation instead -- there is no way this country has any credibility to do things like that right now.

That's probably the most completely f*cked up and wasted opportunity part of America today.

Clinton and Giuliani are probably two of the worst candidates the American peope could choose to run the country. Niether of them have the balls to say what they really think about anything. They are both too concerned with pandering to the other side in preperation for the general election. The problem with that is, they haven't even won the nominations.
I see a distinct difference between politics and business. Maybe in some of the smaller nations in Europe, etc., politics still rules in elections and means something. And by politics I mean getting behind ideas and ideals of how a nation and its leadership, citizenry, and government can work.

Instead, there's far too much money on the line in the U.S. for that to ever happen. Elections are all about money and economics. That's it. Chuck any political ideas aside. That's what it all boils down to, and thus the country can only function in elections under economic terms. :money:

That one is really a woman and the other is really a man? Yes, we knew that already.

It's a shame too many people are willing to settle for this mediocre version of democracy. Too bad no one is brave enough to stand up against this type of "politics".

I like Obama because he offers change and the idea of bringing the US back to a beacon of hope for the rest of the world. If anything we as a country need to change our image. If we can't portray ourselves as doing what's right, how can we expect other countries to do so? Obama is the answer, bottom line. If Hillary or Rudy make it into the white house, I see us vacationing in Iran by summer 2009.

I have to say, hate him or love him, even witnessing Dan Marino the 80's Miami Tubbs & Crockett heyday, Brady is getting shit done on a whole new level.

I've been a Brady disser for a long time. And while it certainly helps to have a great squad behind you, it's been particularly impressive what he's been able to do with actual receivers. Montana had Rice and Taylor. Bradshaw had Swann and Stallworth. But this guy had to win Super Bowls with the likes of Troy Brown, David Patten, and Deion Branch. :yuck:

I'm watching "City of God" about the slums of Rio in the 70's and 80's, and it is off the chain.
One of my favorite movies of the past decade.

The screenwriter for it is the same screenwriter for the new Brazilian Tropa de Elite movie that Zé and I have been talking about here.
