Yes but you said Kafka. You should have said Kafka in Der Prozess was humorous because saying Kafka was humorous makes it more general. But anyway, I won't go further on this one, time for bed.
Because humoristic is about the same as "humoristisch" which is the Dutch variant and there's no real word in Dutch for "humorous". As I speak Dutch "humorous" isn't the first word that comes to my mind.
Really? I always saw myself more as a Portnoy's Complaint kind of guy (the teenage years when he jerking in all sorts of inanimate objects whenever he wasn't fucking his girlfriend, referred to as "the monkey").
This reminds me, perhaps I should read some more novels of Philip Roth. I have only read Portnoy's Complaint and Everyman TBH. Though the story of The Human Stain looks fantastic to me.
Well, you could have said he is a humorous writer, just say he is humorous, or you could have just said humorist, which already defines him as a writer.
thats cool, i used to know a guy who didn't think he existed!
he used to hide in bushes wearing a black ski mask and shout "you can't see me" to everyone who passed. last time i seen him he was earning money working in the london docklands shoving brazil nuts up his japs-eye
