Swagger, have you ever eaten at "Tommie's Mexican Restaurant" in Frisco?
They are talking about it on the History Channel.....best Tequila in town...
Yup. The Mexican food is pretty lame at Tommy's, but the margaritas kick ass.
Better eats are at the Ton Kiang dim sum down the block.
It's all in "the Avenues" -- meaning property not far from the beach. For those who haven't been to SF, few people willingly want to live near the beach here. So the feel is more suburban and rents are relatively cheap.
Unlike LA's warm waters with bikini-clad lifeguards -- and most places with ocean-front property where demand is high, for example -- our ocean front comes with cold fog, heavy winds, freezing waters from the Alaskan currents, sea lions, and Great White Sharks following them along on the food chain. So the tequila comes in handy to keep you from thinking about how your nuts are freezing off on a California ocean front beach of all places (and it makes you forget about losing half your torso to Chico the Chomper. And I don't mean a shark... Chico is a demented homeless guy who lives in Golden Gate Park. :skull
